Rise Of The Antihero

A 21 track underground rap/hip-hop album (1h 6m 8s) — released December 15th 2014 on On Our Feet Ent. / Nationmusic

Rising Rap-Duo NEFEW will release their sophomore album entitled "Rise Of The Antihero" on November 28th, 2014. With a few projects already behind them, the group is looking forward to their biggest release to date. In late fall 2014 NEFEW 's second official LP entitled "Rise of the Antihero" will hit the streets physically and digitally as a sequel to their project "Antihero Begins."

The album's main theme is conquering fear, doubt and the limitations put on us by others, a musical crusade against society's affection with normality and obedience. It breaches sonic boundaries and crosses safety lines, leaving the comfort zone behind while embarking on a journey to an uncertain future. Listeners can expect a very autobiographical project, with the typical full-bodied NEFEW sound and storytelling lyrics.

Musically NEFEW's sound can be described as a melodic blend of different genres with orchestral elements, a strong emphasis on details and a massive low end, diversely arranged to bring the songs to life.

"Rise Of The Antihero" includes guest appearances from BJ The Chicago Kid, Jared Evan, STS Gold, Jason Caesar, John Turrell and many more. NEFEW handled all of the production on the project, making it a cohesive concept album with a musical golden thread. Roc Nation's Lenny Santiago has declared, "NEFEW is a breath of fresh air for modern day Hip-Hop. Songs with substance, instrumentation, great production and clever lyrics."
